You don't need to know what you want built. Describe what isn't working and I'll come back with what I think would fix it, roughly what it would cost, and whether I'm actually the right person for it.

This is the useful bit — the more detail here, the more useful my first reply can be.
Honest answers help. I build evenings and weekends, so a genuinely urgent job is usually one I should turn down rather than let down.
Not a test. It just stops me proposing something twice the size of what you had in mind.
